My name is Troy Van Spanje, My earliest memories of the gym was when I used to follow my Dad to our local fitness centre when I was 14 years old. I remember the manager told me that I had to wait until I was 16 before they would let me become a member and start lifting weights. I would just go there and help my Dad and hang out. When I was old enough I was there every day working on exercises that I read in magazines while trying to get into the best shape that I could.
